Your work fantastic! I'm curious, can you recommend any resources for studying similar forms of lettering from a historical point of view? Any archives of vintage signage that you use for inspiration? 
AnswerThe best advice I can give is this: Get acquainted with your local antique stores and try to understand why things were made the way they were. Don’t just look at the aesthetics, look at the purpose. It will come a lot easier that way.
