shitthatilike- with digital design being so precise and perfect typically, do you find it hard to commission work with your style being so organic?
Absolutely not. I’ve found that a lot of clients really appreciate organic, natural design and even spend a great deal of time seeking it out. The age of clean, precise design seems to be dwindling a bit as everyone becomes more comfortable with the computer as a tool. It’s actually a pretty great thing for art in general. Sure there are trends and you still see the same thing over and over again, but at least now you have designers and illustrators relying on more than a bezier point to get the job done. The human element has been re-injected into the communication arts and we’re finally seeing some life after the last decade of ones and zeroes.
